About Chloe Lob

Growing up in South Africa, I was deeply influenced by the country's rich tapestry of social complexities. The racial struggles, social diversity and political turmoil shaped my perspective on human identity. Art became my outlet since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and capturing the human condition was always my passion.

Although art was my first love, I pursued a career in architecture. I moved to Los Angeles to obtain my Masters in Architecture from UCLA and have been practicing in this vibrant city ever since. I have loved blending my artistic expression with practical design in my career, however I have recently been called back to my pencils, discovering that the artistic fire inside me is aflame more than ever.

My art is a blend of my cultural heritage, architectural training, and my deeply introspective examination of the human experience. My work delves into the nuances of the human form, exploring themes of identity, emotion, and connection. Through my meticulous attention to detail and intuitive understanding of space, my art embraces the complexities of the human experience.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and join me on this journey of rediscovery and expression through art.
